Sorry to see you go. Account deletions are handled by our support team so we can make sure your data, subscription and any organizations you own are closed down cleanly.
Before you contact us — things you can't undo
Account deletion is permanent. Once processed, we cannot recover:
Your projects and dubs
Downloaded and pending exports
Custom voices, glossaries and translation history
Your login and profile
Download anything you still need. Open each project and export the final video before requesting deletion. Once the account is closed, exports are gone.
Cancel your subscription first
If you have an active paid plan, cancel it before you request deletion:
This stops further charges. Any remaining credits are forfeited when the account is deleted — they cannot be refunded or transferred.
Remove yourself from shared Accounts
If you're a member of accounts owned by other people, leave them first so your removal doesn't surprise the team:
Ask an Owner or Admin of that account to remove you from the Members page If you own an account that should keep running without you, promote another member to Owner before requesting deletion. Otherwise mention it in the chat and we'll help close it.
How to request deletion
To get started, ask Dubby in the chat (bottom right) and request deletion. The team verifies it's really you from the account, so be ready to confirm you're the account holder. Include:
The email address tied to the account
Confirmation that you've exported anything you want to keep
A note about any account you own (close them, or transfer ownership)
Optional: the reason you're leaving — feedback helps us improve We'll confirm receipt, process the deletion and send a final confirmation once your account and personal data have been permanently erased.
Changed your mind?
If you've already asked us and want to cancel the request, message us again in the same chat before we send the final confirmation. Once deletion is processed, the account cannot be restored.
